Zack Dayton, 30, of Lenoxville, PA., was taken from us Friday, October 25, 2013 in a tragic automobile accident in Clifford, PA. Born October 5, 1983 in Carbondale, PA., he is the son of Alan and Sue (Ransom) Dayton, of Lenoxville, PA. Zack is a 2002 graduate of Mountain View High School and worked in construction. He was a member of the Lenoxville United Methodist Church. His greatest joys in life were his daughter and spending time with family. He loved to play sports, hunting, fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. Zack had an awesome sense of humor that always made everyone around him laugh and smile. He is survived by one daughter: Isabella Dayton and her mother Sarah Jonas both of Union Dale, PA.; one sister: Mikayla Dayton and boyfriend Donnie Dougher of Clifford, PA.; maternal grandparents: Donnie and Carolyn Ransom of Lenoxville, PA.; uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Clark and Eleanor Dayton of Montrose, PA. The funeral was held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Lenoxville United Methodist Church, Route 374, Lenoxville, PA., with Pastor Peg Knapich, officiating. Friends called Friday, November 1, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
