William W. Wilson, 63, of Kingsley, PA., died Monday afternoon, September 21, 2009 at home after a brief battle with cancer. Born December 14, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Woodrow W. and Kathryn (Machell) Wilson. He was a member of the South Gibson United Methodist Church, South Gibson, PA. and a retired employee of Penn-Foster Career School and College, Scranton, PA. In 1963, after graduating from the Mountain View High School, he joined the Army and trained at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC., and completed active duty as a corporal in artillery at Fort Sill, OK. in 1966. He is survived by one daughter: Andrea Brown and husband Steven of Wake Forest, NC.;one son: Donald Wilson at home; one grandson: Christopher; one sister: Delores Price and husband Howard of Wendell, NC; one brother-in-law: Joseph Decker of South Gibson, PA.; nieces and nephews.A private graveside service followed by inurnment was held at the South Gibson Cemetery, South Gibson, PA. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 712 S.
