William G. Nash, 83, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Elizabeth Wilkinson on June 9, 2015.
Born April 1, 1940 in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late William and Rosemary Bedoar Nash.
Bill was a former resident of New Jersey where he and his wife were partners in their real estate consulting and evaluation business. The family relocated to Newton Lake in 1990. Prior to his retirement, he was a home designer for Simplex Homes in Scranton. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1963.
He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed attending and supporting his grandchildren's activities. Bill had a vast knowledge of classic cars and was well versed on how to repair them. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, especially with his son.
He is survived by his children: Patrick Nash and fiancée, Rachel of Scranton, PA, Christina Nash and husband, John of Stratford, NJ, Leann Nash of New Jersey, William Nash of Florida, Tracie Nash Bowman and husband, Ritch of Tennessee; seven grandchildren: Preston, Joseph, Isla, Jessica and husband, Joey, Jonathan, Brandi and husband Craig, Janson and wife, Lizzie; five great-grandchildren: Teigan, Shelby, Kasey, Aven and Easton; one sister: Linda Schultz of Rochester, NY; one brother: Roger Nash of Rochester, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister: Carol Faber.
The family received friends on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA. Entombment, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
