William Moran, better known as Billy, born on March 10, 1969 of Bay Shore, New York, was 57 when he took his last ride on July 23, 2026. He passed in a motorcycle accident and died the way he lived; doing what he loved, on his terms, on his ultra classic bike.

Billy spent his last years in Pennsylvania where he found peace on the quiet mountain roads, away from the noise. A proud member of the Pagan Motorcycle Club, he fell in love with Harley Davidsons washing bikes as a young child and carried that passion with him until the day he took his final ride. His favorite bike of all time was his purple chopper.

He was a funny guy, always cracking jokes. But more importantly- he was a man of his word. He will always be remembered as the guy you could call no matter what, and he would show up. What you needed did not matter, because he would get it done. He gave even when he did not have, and if he couldn’t- he would always find a way, no matter the cost... or summons.

He loved hard. A tough guy, sometimes a scary guy, but without a doubt the most generous man who was born with a heart bigger than most people ever knew. Those that he loved knew his heart and his soul in a truly special way.

Those that he loved deeply and who survived him were his mother, Mary Moran; his brothers, Jim and Brian Moran; his daughter, Krystie Moran; his pride and joy grandchildren, Luna and Sol; his nephews of his brother Brian, Max and Quin; and of most notable mention, his nephew, Michael Heuskin and wife, Sabrina along with their children, his nieces, Lydia, Sophia and Makenzie, all of whom gave Billy his sense of home and family in his final years.

A viewing will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.  At 2:30 p.m. family and friends will have the opportunity to share memories about Billy.
