William "Wave" Cosklo, 44, of Crystal Lake, PA, died unexpectedly Monday night, December 4, 2017 after a brief illness at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, PA. Born March 6, 1973 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of Evelyn Bruno Cosklo of Crystal Lake, PA, and the late Andrew J. Cosklo, Jr. Willie was a 1991 graduate of Carbondale Area High School and had been employed in the masonry, landscaping and restaurant industries. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Willie liked shooting pool and was a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was affectionately known by his family and friends as "the wave." Willie was also a proud member of the Fell Township Fire Police. He was a devoted son to his mother, with whom he resided and a proud and loving uncle to his two nieces. He is survived by his siblings: David Cosklo and wife Kimberly and their children, Alyssa and Megan all of Crystal Lake, PA, Andy Cosklo of Olyphant, PA, Donna Fry of Simpson, PA, Patti Brown of Madisonville, PA and Debbie Orme of Crozet, VA; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral was held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. from Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place at Terrace Street, Carbondale, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. James Price, C.P., pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
