William Scott Clarke, 39, of South Gibson, PA, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at home. Born September 19, 1977 in Carbondale, PA, he is the son of William H. and Janice Pleska Clarke, of South Gibson. Scott was the owner and operator of Clarke Landscapes and More and was so proud of his work. He enjoyed growing unique varieties of plants and vegetables to share with family, friends and neighbors. He was an avid outdoorsman and gardener. He will be dearly missed by his constant companion, his loyal dog, BoBo. He is also survived by one sister: Jennifer Ciafre and husband Jason of Ardmore, PA; two nephews: Jason and Benjamin Ciafre of Ardmore, PA; one uncle: Jack Pleska and wife Lorraine of White Plains, NY and several cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: John and Sophie Pleska; paternal grandparents: William and Sara Clarke and two aunts: Carol Piatak and Sally Iveson. Scott was cremated and a private service for family will be held at a later date in South Gibson Cemetery. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
