William G. Albert, Sr., 85, of Montrose, PA, died Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Regional Hospital, Scranton, PA.

Born June 5, 1940 in Maple Shade, PA, he was the son of the late William and Priscilla (Gough) Albert.

William was a hard worker and enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by two sons: William Albert, Jr. and wife, Cathy of Kingsley, PA, and Dale Albert and wife, Linda of Kingsley, PA; seven grandchildren: Crystal and Wesley Barwick, William, III., Jordan, Tyler and Christopher Albert and Ryan Depew; several great grandchildren; one sister: Shirley O'Leary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Judy Barwick; a grandson: Cody Albert; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Services were private at the convenience of the family.

Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
