Wenfred Tyrone Bethea, 63, of Carbondale, PA, died Saturday, January 10, 2026 at home.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Victoria (Smith) Bethea.

He is survived by his wife: Cynthia Ann Bethea; two children: Victoria Propes and Eric DiBilio; seven siblings: Cassandra Armwood, William Bethea, Jr., Clearist Bethea, Rickie Bethea, Sherwood Bethea, Robert Bethea and Steven Bethea; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by siblings: Lamont Bethea and Rowena Gurganious.

Private funeral services were held Thursday, January 15, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
