Vivian K. Marques, age 65, of Carbondale, PA. and formerly of Pleasant Mount, PA. died early Saturday morning, October 23, 2004 at home. She was the wife of the late Michael Marques. Born June 24, 1939 in Teaneck, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Francis George and Helen (Russell) Kreamer. She worked as a salesperson for Sugermans Department Store in Eynon, PA for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and watching the Polkas on Saturday evenings. She is survived by one son: Lee wife Donna Huffert of Carbondale, PA.; one sister: Gail Duggan of Lake Hopatcong, NJ.; one granddaughter: Erika Huffert of Carbondale, PA.; one step granddaughter: Laura husband Michael Crowl of Carbondale, PA.; one step grandson: Jeffrey wife Tina Miller of Carbondale, PA.; five step great grandchildren, Jeremy, Alexis, Michael Kimberlee Crowl and Kendra Curtis; Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one son: Douglas Huffert The funeral was held Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with the Rev. Jay Best, officiating. Interment, Wheeler Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Mount. Friends called Tuesday, October 26, 2004 from 2-4 7-9 PM. Pallbearers: Jeffrey Miller, Erika Huffert, Laura Crowl, Tina Miller, Mike Crowl, Sam Meixsell and Michael Seymour.
