Virginia Ann Warren passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 after an illness.
Born July 20, 1949 in Canton, Ohio, she had lived in NEPA for the last 50 years, most recently in Carbondale since retiring 15 years ago.
She was known to many via her numerous nicknames Gena, Jenga, Gypsy, Genny, QueenBee, and the one which gave her the most pride… Bammy, for which she was known by her grandchildren and their friends. She’ll be remembered by her friends and family for her generous spirit, sense of humor, smile, sassy wit, and love for glamour.
She is survived by her son, Chris Bartlett, wife Anne, and grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Connor of Dickson City, PA, her daughter, Beth and husband Mark Sokoloski of Exeter, PA, and her companion, Bill Kuttrubis of Carbondale, PA.
Her family would like to thank all of her caregivers that treated her so well these last years, especially those of Carbondale Nursing Home.
A celebration of her life to be planned at a future date.
Arrangements by Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
