Vina Blue Goodrich age 74, of 230 Sandy Banks Road, Greenfield Twp. died Sunday, March 17, 2002 at home surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Merle Goodrich. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on July 4, 2001 Born April 22, 1927 in Greenfield Township, PA. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Vina (Gardner) White. She was the granddaughter of the late Walter and Annie Gardner, whom raised her after the death of her mother at birth. She was preceded in death by her step mother Agatha Powell-White. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved her savior very much. She also held several offices with her church over the years. She was a lifetime member of the Greenfield Twp. Historical Society and a past member of the Ladies Auxillary of Greenfield Twp. She was a very special lady who touched the lives of many people, and will be sadly missed by all. She graduated from the Ben Franklin High School, Carbondale.
