Vera J. Solano, 69, of Jermyn, PA., died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at home. Born October 24, 1943 in Tacoma, WA., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin A. and Jennie Kulick Grabowski. Prior to her retirement, she was a self employed house keeper. She is survived by one daughter: Jeannie Marie Solano of Scranton, PA.; one sister: Diane Grabowski of Jermyn, PA. She was preceded in death by one son: Louis Solano. As per her request, she was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
