Vann M. Canfield, age 86, of South Gibson, PA. died Tuesday evening, February 10, 2004 at the Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA. Born November 21, 1917 in Forkston, PA. He was the son of the late Redmond and Sadie (Baker) Canfield. He was a self-employed logger for more than 40 years. He also worked at Kilmers Saw Mill in Clifford, PA. for the last 6 years. He was an avid hunter. He is survived by Several Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by four brothers: Lloyd M., Clifford, Albert and Bernard Canfield; one sister: Loueva Law The funeral was held Friday, February 13, 2004 at 10:00 am from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, with the Rev. Barbara Doan of the South Gibson United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment, South Gibson Cemetery. Friends called Friday, February 13, 2004 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
