Timothy M. Schmidt, 55, of Waymart, PA., died Friday morning, October 25, 2013 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. Born June 22, 1958 in Schenectady, NY., he is the son of Maryann (Kasowski) Schmidt of Sarasota, FL. and the late Govenour Schmidt. He was a self employed painter for many years and an avid hunter. He is survived by two daughters: Richelle Schmidt of Beverly, MA. and Amanda Schmidt of Navarre, FL.; three brothers: Tony Schmidt of Hayesville, NC., Thomas Schmidt of Charleston, NY. and Tracy Schmidt of Sarasota, FL.; fiance: Jennifer Phillips of Hayesville, NC. As per his request, he was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
