Thomas P. Oliver, 60, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Friday, November 2, 2018 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, PA, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Priscilla Wilson. Born July 6, 1958 in Towanda, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Naomi Winslow Oliver. Tom was the proud owner of Interstate Battery in Greenfield Township. During his 21 years of operating the business, he will be remembered as a fair and honest businessman who made many lifelong friendships with his customers. He was an avid hunter, a skilled woodworker and a member of the Green Grove Pilgrim Holiness Church in Nicholson. Tom was a giving person who was a behind the scene kind of guy and would never take credit for any of his good deeds. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather who selflessly put the needs of his family before his own. He is also survived by two daughters: Angie Watts and husband Gene of Ft. Pierce, FL and Carol Oliver-Ransom and husband Timothy of Nicholson, PA; eight grandchildren: Andi, Dakota, Shelby, Emma, Sarah, Jonathan, Ezra and Jude; a great grandson: Jax; two sisters: Mary Welch and husband Almon of Sayre, PA and Betty Oliver of Rome, PA; one brother: James Oliver of Rome, PA; several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Green Grove Pilgrim Holiness Church, 2001 State Route 374, Nicholson, PA, with Rev. Jonathan Fall, pastor, and Rev. Rowan Fay, co-officiating. Cremation followed. Pallbearers: Gene Watts, Timothy Ransom, Aaron Ransom, Bruce Hartley, Leslie Bronson, Ralph Wilson, Raymond Wilson and Philip Wilson.
