Obituary

Thomas J. Mullisky, Jr. age 66, of 509 Main Street, Forest City died Monday, April 15, 2002 at home after a lengthy illness. His widow is the former Sonya Barney. Born July 16, 1935 in Carbondale, PA. He was the son of the late Thomas J. and Helen (Sadusky) Mullisky, Sr. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. He served in the U.S. Army. Prior to his illness he was employed as a construction worker at Merli-Sarnoski Park, Greenfield Twp. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the polkas. He is survived by two daughters: Wendy Scarfo of Pleasant Mount, PA. and Roxanne Kimmel of Forest City, PA.; one son: Joseph of Forest City, PA.; two brothers: Martin Mullisky of Archbald, PA. and James Mullisky of Carbondale, PA.; 6 Grandchildren; Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by one son: Frank Mullisky; one daughter: Jamie Ann Mullisky; three sisters: Ann Mullisky, Lucille Mullisky and Joan Hendrickson The funeral was held Thursday, April 18, 2002 at 9:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with mass at 9:30 AM in St. Rose Of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, Celebrated by the Rev. Thomas J. McDermott, Assistant Pastor. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford. Viewing was held Wednesday, April 17, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9.
