Thomas J. Harding, Sr. age 70, of Waymart, PA. died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, January 21, 2003 at home. His wife is the former Catherine Ann Bullock.
Born April 6, 1932 in Binghamton, NY. He was the son of the late Norris and Pluma (Haywood) Harding.
He was retired from the Easter Seal Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Olyphant, PA. He was a graduate of the Binghamton North High School.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. He was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed listening to music and playing several musical instruments. He also enjoyed doing carpentry work.

He is survived by three daughters: Sally Harding and Susan Harding both of Texas and Lillian Gordon of Millerton, PA.; three sons: Thomas J. Harding, Jr. of Elmira, NY., David Harding and Michael Harding both of Texas; one sister: Eva White of Ann Arbor, MI.; two brothers: Charles Harding of Binghamton, NY. and William Harding of California; two step sons: Jesse Carey of Waymart, PA. and William Carey of Absecon, NJ.; three step daughters: Marianne Carey of Northfield, NJ., Christine Carey of Randolph, NJ. and Lisa L'Archevesque of Aurora, CO.; Several Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins
He was preceded in death by one son: Robert Harding; two brothers: Frank Harding and Edward Harding; one sister: Virginia Warner
The funeral was held Friday, January 24, 2003, at 6:30 pm in the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Rev. Yvonne Perry of the Carley Brook Charge United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation followed in the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald. Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart.
A viewing was held Friday, January 24, 2003 from 5-6:30.
