Theresa J. McWhirr, age 44, of Uniondale, PA. for the past 3 years and formerly of New Jersey, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, October 31, 2006 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, PA. Her husband of almost 14 years is Ronald McWhirr. Born April 14, 1962 in Toms River, NJ., she is the daughter of Daniel Cahill of West Clifford, PA. and the late Mary Catherine (McGurrin) Cahill. She attended St. Pius X Church in Royal, PA. and was a graduate of Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She volunteered her time at the Mountain View Elementary School with many school activities. She loved her family very much, took great pride in taking care of them and will be dearly missed. Ron would like to state, Cherish and love the ones you have now because there may not be a tomorrow. She is survived by one daughter: Samantha McWhirr; one son: Daniel McWhirr, both at home; one brother: Karl Jude Cahill of West Clifford, PA.; Several Nieces Nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: Darren Cahill The funeral was held Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 10:30 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, Route 106, Royal, celebrated by Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn, pastor. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Friends called Friday, November 3, 2006 from 5-9 PM. Pallbearers: Chuck Cahill, Lawrence Bean, Armando Pedreira, Joseph Valentine, Greg Rudick and Edward Napierkowski.
