Theresa Marie Fox, 69, of Scranton, PA, died April 7, 2025 in Texas while visiting family.

Born May 5, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Theresa Munley Fox.

Theresa was raised on Long Island, NY, and later moved to Carbondale to be near family. She had formerly worked at Allied Services, the Catherine McAuley Center and taught CCD at St. Mary's Church in Dunmore. She was an active member of 2008 PSH and former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 3, Carbondale. After many long-term illnesses, she later resided in both personal care and nursing home settings in Scranton and Taylor.

She is survived by several family members in Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
