We are saddened to announce the death of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, Theodore J. Knapp, of Pleasant Mount, PA, who died Sunday, February 7, 2016. Ted was a good man who dedicated his life to his family, his church and to his community. He proudly served in the Navy during the Korean conflict, and was a graduate of Drexel University. He was a soft spoken man of few words. The Knapp family would like to thank Chrissie and Bob Kozlowski for their wonderful care of our father during his final weeks. We would also like to thank, Dr. Hopkins, Lisa S., Kristen, Beth, and Lisa, the staff at Regional Hospital, Dr. Speicher, Tammy, a wonderful caregiver from Allied Skilled Nursing, The Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Bishop Timlin, Father Kirwin, Pastor Bissol, Pastor Dominic and Rabbi M. We thank you for being there for our dad. A private service and interment was held at the convenience of the family. Memorials in Ted's name were made to, the Pleasant Mount Library, Pleasant Mount Emergency Services, and the Pleasant Mount United Methodist Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
