Tammy Gorel, 41, of Chesapeake, VA and formerly of Carbondale, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at home. Born February 23, 1974 in Carbondale, PA, daughter of Joseph and Helen Sefchick Gorel of Carbondale. Tammy was a graduate of Lakeland High School, attended Keystone College in La Plume, PA and graduated from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY. She had been employed as a respiratory therapist at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA. Tammy loved her job and the ability to work with and help children. She enjoyed the outdoors and the time she spent living in the state of Colorado.She will be deeply missed by parents and her beloved cat, Chunky. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother: Brian Gorel Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Carbondale, PA assisted the family with private arrangements.
