I wanna say to everybody under the sound of my voice, this afternoon, that you are somebody. Don't let anybody make you feel that you are nobody. You are somebody, you have dignity, You have worth, don't be ashamed of yourself. And don't be ashamed of your heritage, Don't be ashamed of your color. Don't be ashamed of your hair. I am black and beautiful. I'm not ashamed to say it. It's written in your blood. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Poem Tears of Joy Cry tears of joy, if you cry for me For I'm content now, at peace And pain free, simple and honestly, I lived my life… Fighting hardships and denying strife. So many good times I have shared, With family and friends for whom I cared, Sweet memories I shall take with me, So do not despair, for I'm home free. And do remember I'll be waiting, To embrace you again – I'm anticipating!! So keep me safely in your heart, And know we are but a moment apart. Cry tears of release, and know I'm at rest I lived, I loved, and gave my best. God called for me and I couldn't wait, Now I'm here, in His arms, and I Celebrate Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
