Sylvia Franceski Falvo, of Carbondale, PA., died early Saturday morning, November 11, 2006 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. Her husband of 58 years is Carmino M. Falvo.
Born in Forest City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Rosar and Pauline (Cos) Franceski.
She was a graduate of the Forest City High School and was retired from the garment industry. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother and sister who will be deeply missed.
She is survived by one daughter: Patricia Creegan and husband Sean of Carlisle, PA.; one sister: Ruth Ann Slish of Forest City, PA.; one brother: Arthur Franceski of Schenectady, NY.; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by one son: Carmine; three brothers: Russell, Robert and Donald Franceski; one sister: Alice Susco.
The funeral was held Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 9:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by the Rev. William D. Campbell, senior priest. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
Friends called Tuesday, November 14, 2006 from 4-8 PM.
