Swann S. Kushmore, 16, of Clifford, PA., died Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Clifford. Born September 21, 1996 in Somerville, NJ., she was the daughter of Michelle Kushmore of Clifford and Steven Cubberly of Union Dale, PA. She was a member of the sophomore class at the Mountain View High School, Kingsley, PA. and was a guitarist in the band, Open Eyes. Swann was an amazing person who was an artistic musician and was very athletic. She was an excellent writer and won several awards for her poems. She is survived by two sisters: Arien and Tabitha Cubberly both at home; paternal grandparents: Otto and Susan Vamos of Milton, DE.; maternal grandparents: Mona Monahad and Lonnie Vessell both of Texas; uncles and aunts: T.J. Vamos, Rachael Kniesly and husband John all of Baltimore, MD., Erik Vamos and wife Michelle of Millsboro, DE, Brei Mascola of Hartford, CT. and Kristen Kushmore of Gainesville, FL.; 3 cousins. Friends called Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, PA. Cremation followed.
