Suzanne R. Pauswinski, 55, of Carbondale, died Monday at her residence. Born July 8, 1965 in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Michael Fortuner, Sr. and the late Ruth Shuman Fortuner. She was a 1983 graduate of Forest City High School and had been previously employed in the garment industry having worked for Mussari Dress Factory, Forest City. Suzanne was a very kind and caring person who loved butterfly's and especially liked showing off her jewelry. She loved her family and grandchildren very dearly and she will be sadly missed by them. She is survived by three daughters: Elizabeth Pauswinski of Union Dale, Ruth Pauswinski of Carbondale and Laura Alleva-Cox and husband, Gregory of Archbald; six grandchildren: Nicholas Pauswinski, Alan Williams, Jr., Natalie Williams, Olivia Alleva, Cain Alleva and Piper Pauswinski; two sisters: Theresa Mikolon of Union Dale and Joan Jaggers of Simpson; three brothers: Michael Fortuner, Jr. of Pleasant Mount, Dennis Fortuner of Rural Retreat, VA and John Fortuner of Browndale; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: April Pauswinski, and four brothers: Andrew, James, Jerome and Randy Fortuner. Private funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City, PA. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
