Susan Anne Kilhullen-Hartzell, 50, of Tafton, PA, died Friday, May 29, 2015 of a heart attack with her husband Carl, by her side. Born and raised in Carbondale, PA, she is the daughter of Nancy Parker Kilhullen and the late Joe Kilhullen, Sr. Susie was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale and a 1983 graduate of St. Rose High School and LCVTC. She was a dedicated nurse, formerly working at Marworth and St. Joseph's Center. She loved shopping, red lipstick and the water. She was also an organ donor. Susie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by her children: Emily, Jacob, Joey, Katie and Candice; a sister: Jill Kerl and husband William; two brothers: Joe Kilhullen and wife Cindy and Josh Kilhullen and wife Charlene; godmother: Alice Gilhooley; a godson and nephew: Ryan Kerl and several other nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place at Terrace Street, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. John C. O'Bell, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: Joseph Kilhullen, Josh Kilhullen, Joseph Kilhullen, William Kerl, Brad Kerl and Ryan Kerl.
