Stephen R. Slater, II. 28, of Union Dale, PA, died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Lenox Township, PA. Born June 19, 1988 in Susquehanna, PA, he was the son of Mary Elizabeth Conrad Slater of Union Dale and Stephen Robert Slater of Gainesville, FL. He is survived by a sister: Megan E. Slater of Steinhatchee, FL; his maternal grandmother: Elizabeth Conrad; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: William Wallace Conrad, Jr. and his paternal grandparents: Raymond H. and Jacqueline M. Slater. Friends called Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. at Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA. A service was conducted at 3:00 p.m. by Pastor Bonnie Resseguie. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to assist with Stephen's funeral expenses.
