Stefan Keklak age 81, a resident of the Carbondale Nursing Home and formerly of RD 1 Carbondale, died Friday, November 29, 2002 at the nursing home after an illness. His wife is the former Maria Iwanicka, who died in 1988. Born April 9, 1921 in Poland. He was a member of Sts. Cyril Methodius Ukranian Greek Catholic Church, Olyphant. Prior to his retirement he was a self-employed mason and contractor for many years. He is survived by one daughter: Mary Ann Talerico of Jermyn, PA.; three sons: Michael Keklak of Florida, John Keklak of Sudbury, MA. and Peter Keklak of Florida; 4 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild A graveside service was held Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at 3:00 pm in the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford with Msgr. Stephen Hrynuck, Pastor of Sts. Cyril Methodius Ukranian Greek Catholic Church, Olyphant, officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted into the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Clifford.
