Stanley W. Harkenreader, 81, an Archbald, PA, native, died September 18, 2026 at his home, after a lengthy illness.

Stanley had been employed as a truck driver, school bus driver and mechanic. He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help others. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anne Marie Barnard; one son: Stanley Harkenreader; a granddaughter: Chyann Phillips and husband, Ryan; two great-grandsons: Lucas and Nathan Phillips; a niece: Dianna Posloncec; a great-nephew and great-niece: Dalton and Aaliyah Condida; and his cousin: Darlene Reilly Lengyel.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Stanley and Ann Fuller Harkenreader; a brother: Michael; and a sister: Mary Ann Ritzco.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 411 Church Street, Archbald, PA. Interment will follow at the Jermyn Cemetery, PA.
