Stanley A. Bonczek, 64, of Scranton, PA, died Tuesday afternoon, December 23, 2014 at Commonwealth Hospice, Scranton. Born December 27, 1949 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Nieczkowski Bonczek. Stanley served in the Navy and worked as a bill rider and car inspector for over 30 years with Norfolk Southern Railway. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, traveling and was a handyman around the house. He was a member of S.S. Peter & Paul Church, Scranton. He is survived by his partner: William Valentine of Scranton, PA As per Stanley's request, he was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
