Shirley T. Larkin, age 67, of RR 1, Forest City, PA., died Tuesday morning, May 3, 2005 at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, PA. after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Eugene E. Larkin. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on December 12th. Born January 9, 1938 in Bridgeport, CT. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rena Mae (Monroe) Tracy. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Harford, PA. She was a graduate of Harford High School and received her masters degree from Marywood University, Scranton and also attended Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. She was a Real Estate Broker for S G Royal Realty in Royal, PA. She was a School Board Director at the Mountain View School District. She was an avid square dancer and collector of antiques. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Larkin of Effort, PA., Daniel E. Larkin and Darrin E. Larkin both of Dundaff, PA.; two sisters: Ella Williams of Raleigh, NC. and Rena Seyfert of Erie, PA.; three brothers: James Tracy of Susquehanna, PA., Wallace Tracy of Philadelphia, PA. and John Tracy of Henderson, TN. 6 Grandchildren: Emily, Alex, Sarah, Anne-Marie, Nathaniel and Genevieve; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one brother: Lawrence Tracy Friends called Thursday, May 5, 2005 from 5-8 pm at the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, PA. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
