Shirley R. Kilmer, 92, of Clifford, PA, died Sunday, April 16, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 22, 1930 in Scott Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn Haven Wilmot.

Shirley attended Montdale Schools before becoming a seamstress for Maple Rug Factory, Scranton, PA, and later retiring at the age of 79 from the Gentex Corporation. She was a faithful member of the Tompkinsville United Methodist Church.

Shirley was so nurturing and caring towards taking care of her family. She had a very hard work ethic, loved to cook and bake, and enjoyed gardening. She was an animal lover and enjoyed caring for her dog, Molly and cat, Lilly

She is survived by three sons: Bob Kilmer and wife, Cathy of Clifford, PA, David Kilmer and wife Kim of Clifford, PA and Gary Kilmer and wife, Julie of Vandling, PA; one daughter: Robin Rudovitz of Archbald, PA; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; one sister: Freda Allen of New York; and other siblings and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son: Randy Kilmer; son-in-law: Richard Rudovitz; brother: Ralph Wilmot; and two sisters: Clyona Vail and Dorothy Carey.

A private graveside service was held. Shirley was buried with her son, Randy at the Tompkinsville Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
