Shirley Mae Coyne, 81, a resident of the Creekside Health and Rehab Center, Carbondale, PA and formerly of Scranton, PA, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. Her husband John Thomas Coyne, preceded her in death. Born in Pittston, PA, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Romeo. She is survived by five children : Brian, Keith, Mark, Jonathan and Leticia Coyne. A graveside service was held Monday, August 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Morgan Highway, Scranton, with Deacon Jan Mroz of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Scranton, officiating.
