Shawn H. Kniskern, 46, of Royal, PA., died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at home. Born December 23, 1966 in Willimantic, CT., he was the son of the late Harry Kniskern and Dorothy (Fancher) Yates. He was a graduate of the Mountain View High School and was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed playing soccer, fishing and golfing. He is survived by three sisters: Laurie Bean of Coventry, CT., Gloria Milazzo and husband Richard of Harford, PA. and Terri Salansky and husband Joseph of Royersford, PA.; brother-in-law: David Bean of Union Dale, PA.; two brothers: Richard and Robert Yates, both of Las Vegas, NV.; one niece and six nephews; three great nieces and four great nephews. A graveside service was held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA., with Pastor Gary Haskell of the Jackson Baptist Church, Jackson, PA., officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
