Sharon Krok Scalzo, 68, of Carbondale, PA died Friday morning, April 14, 2017 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, PA. Born August 9, 1948 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Julia Kudrick Krok. Sharon attended Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. With dignity and grace she battled a long term disability for most of her life. She was a kind hearted and loving person who will be deeply missed by her family. Sharon's family always considered her their special angel and now she has attained her wings. She is survived by one sister: Linda Dickinson of Carbondale, PA; one brother: David Krok and wife Sharlyn of Greenfield Township, PA; nephews and niece: Thomas Laguzzi, Jr., Kevin Laguzzi, Brian Krok and Tanya Gorie; great nephews: Jacob and Nico Laguzzi. The funeral was held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place at Terrace Street, Carbondale.
