Sharon L. Rukse, 78, of Carbondale, PA, died Friday, April 1, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Born July 27, 1943 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Carl Miller and Madeline Wynn Miller. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, trips to the ocean, attending paint and sips and dancing. Her pride and joy were her family and she will be deeply missed by them. A special thank you is extended to Hospice of the Sacred Heart and Caregivers of America for all their kindness and compassion to Sharon and her family. She is survived by six children: Richard Clifton, Tammy Edwards, Rebecca Snyder, Candace Zaro and fiancé, Kevin Granville, Angel Rukse and fiancé, Mat Gilliotti and Kelly Iyoob and husband, Joshua; 13 grandchildren: Carl Snyder and wife, Cynthia, Amanda Hanchulak and husband, Victor, Kelton Boris, Tucker Iyoob, Erica Allen, Athena Tonkin, Porsha Zaro, Joshua Clifton, Stephanie Sawyer, John Dake, Samantha Joe Dake, Aryaana Remiller and Seth Remiller; six siblings: Dolly Healey, Clint, Gloria, Chuck and Terry Miller and Cindy Cencetti; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings: Fay Jones, Alice Rodasasky and Ronnie Miller. The funeral was held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place at Terrace Street, Carbondale, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Arun Lakra, assistant pastor. Interment, Jermyn Cemetery, Jermyn, PA. Pallbearers: Kelton Boris, Joshua Clifton, Carl Snyder, Jr., Carl Snyder, III., Joshua Iyoob and Victor Hanchulak.
