Scott J. Bubba Counterman, age 35, of Carbondale, PA., died Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale.
Born June 22, 1970 in Carbondale, PA., he was the son of Clarence and Deanna (Barney) Counterman of Carbondale.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a graduate of the Forest City Regional High School, Forest City, PA. He was employed as an automobile mechanic at Browns Service Station in Dunmore, PA.
He is survived by one daughter: Desiree Counterman and one son: Nicholas Counterman both of Lake Ariel, PA.; two sisters: Teri Counterman and Najma (Winona) Kashif both of Carbondale, PA.; five brothers: David Counterman of Carbondale, PA., Phillip Counterman of Honesdale, PA., Clarence Counterman of Hamlin, PA., Daniel Barney of Carbondale, PA. and Jeff Barney of Uniondale, PA.; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces nephews
The funeral was held Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, with the Rev. Arthur Davis, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Christ, Taylor, PA., officiating.
Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.
Inurnment, Keen Cemetery, Steen, PA.
