Sarah E. Valentin, 30, of Simpson, PA., died Wednesday night, April 24, 2013 at the Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville, PA. She was the wife of the late Paul Frishko, Jr. who died on September 24, 2006. Born April 29, 1982 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of Naomi Muchal Woody and the step daughter of Joseph Woody, Sr. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 7963, Eynon, PA. She was a Loving and caring mother who was devoted to her children. Her presence in her family's lives will be deeply missed. She is survived by four children: Ciara Muchal, Dakota Hiller, Ethan and Cora Frishko all at home; two brothers: Joseph Woody, Jr. and fiancee Sarah of Forest City, PA. and Steven Woody of Simpson, PA.; maternal grandparents: Don and Joan Muchal of Archbald, PA.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral was held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 7:30 PM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, PA., with Pastor Tim Madden, officiating. Cremation followed. Friends called Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 4:00 - 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions that can assist them with Sarah's final expenses.
