Sandra Keene, LPN, 72, of Harford, PA, died Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Keene. They were married September 21, 1979.

Born March 26, 1950 in South Gibson, PA, she was the daughter of the late Boyd A. and Alverna Tuttle Resseguie.

Sandra was a graduate of Mountain View High School and was retired as a licensed practical nurse having worked private duty for most of her career. She was a member of the Clifford United Methodist Church, Clifford, PA. She also enjoyed crocheting, trips to Jamaica, Bermuda and the Bahamas with her husband and time spent with her sisters. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by five children: Trudy Butcher and husband, Nick of Harford, PA, George Sansky and wife, Jen of Rifle, CO, Jason Keene and wife, Ellen of New Milford, PA, John Keene and wife, Joy of Harford Township, PA and Jeremy Keene and companion, Erica Birtch of Jackson, PA; sixteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters: Gale Resseguie of Binghamton, NY, Judy Harmer of Clifford, PA, Bonnie Resseguie of Royal, PA and Cindy Warren of New Milford, PA; one half-sister: Shelly of TN; one half-brother: Brian Resseguie of Kato, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Penny Sansky; and half-sister: Vicki Somes.

The funeral was held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. from the Clifford United Methodist Church, 34 Main Street, Clifford, PA, celebrated by Rev. Patricia Hanley, pastor. Interment followed at Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA.

Pallbearers: Jason Keene, John Keene, Jeremy Keene, James Keene, Austin Keene, Zack Kinney and Cory Prokarym.

A viewing was held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 3-6 p.m. at the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA.
