Ruth E. Snyder, 85, of Kunkletown, PA, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, PA. She was the wife of the late Charles Newton Snyder. Born in Hempstead, NY, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Evelyn White Edwards. She was a former resident of Long Island, New York and was a retired administrative assistant for the Katherine Gibbs College, Melville, NY. Funeral services were held on Long Island, NY with interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
