Rosilene R. Holtsmaster, 42, of Peckville, PA, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at home following a battle with Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome, a rare digestive condition. Born August 26, 1978 in Paranagua, Brazil, she is survived by her parents Christian and Raquel Mesa Sweeny of Miami, FL. Rosilene was a 1997 graduate of Mountain View High School and worked at Bingham's Restaurant while in high school. She later went on to work at Elk Mountain Ski Resort and was a cook at Glen Oak Country Club and the Abington Manor. Rosilene had a smile that would light up a room, was kind and such a giver to others. She truly had a heart of gold and put others before herself. She had a great laugh, was hard working and enjoyed line dancing and country music. She is also survived by one son: Jacob Holtsmaster of Harford, PA; her companion: Bryan Fairfax-Columbo of which she resided; one sister: Mariele McElroy and husband, Bruce of Harford, PA; other siblings in Brazil; former husband: Thomas Holtsmaster of Brooklyn, PA; two nieces: Aiyana and Cheyenne McElroy; two nephews: Caden and Tanner Holtsmaster; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank and Kaye Holtsmaster of Union Dale, PA and two brothers-in-law: Steve Holtsmaster and Mike Holtsmaster and wife, Shaun. A memorial service was held Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with Rev. Bonnie Resseguie, officiating.
