Rosemari H. Stephens, 96, of Newton Lake, PA, died Monday, January 15, 2024 at home with her daughter by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, George H. Stephens on April 7, 2017.

Born in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Betty Wasman Healey and she resided in Royal and Newton Lake. Rosemari and her husband, George lived a wonderful life traveling to Florida for the winters and enjoying Newton Lake in the summers. She was extremely talented at sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting and was an outstanding cook! She enjoyed many hours with her beloved cat, Tricia. Her love of family and friends surpassed the norm and she will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank Theresa Micknick, nurse Judy and members of the Home Health Hospice Care for their wonderful support.

She is survived by her daughter: Beth Komar and husband, John; Rosemari had the great love of her grandchildren: Danielle (Chad) McLaud, Emily (Brian) Kotchessa, Heidi (Steve) Pavelski, Jodi (Jason) Bello and Eric (MaeLynn) Stephens; She adored her great grandchildren: Lyndon, Molly, Kinsey, Mason, Aidan, Alan, Keelan and Quinn; she is also survived by her daughter-in-law: Linda (Tommy Rusek) Stephens; her brother: Frank Healey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son: Eric Stephens; a brother: Jack Healey; and her sisters: Jeanne Healey, Ann Connolly and Gretta O'Connor.

The funeral was held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with a Catholic blessing service officiated by Rev. Seth Wasnock, pastor of Rosemari's parish, St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment, Clifford Valley Cemetery, Clifford, PA.

A viewing was held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
