Rose A. Vadala, 81, formerly of 7 Pheonix Avenue, Carbondale, PA., died early Wednesday morning, May 16, 2007 at the Carbondale Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Patrick C. Vadala, who died October 19, 1978.
Born June 6, 1925 in Paterson, NJ., she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Elvira Biscardi Giordano. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed.
She is survived by two children: Bruno Vadala and Patricia Denesevich both of Carbondale, PA.; Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by one grandson: Patrick Denesevich; two brothers, John Dominick Giordano; four sisters: Carmella Balanis, Concetta Frazier, Elvira Kilpatrick and Elizabeth Kozloski. The funeral was held Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 9:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by the Rev. William Campbell, senior priest. Interment, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Carbondale.
