Rose M. Rushen, 81, of Blakeslee, PA and formerly of Toms River, NJ, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at home. She was the wife of George Rushen, who died in 1999. Born in Sussex, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Isabell Lewis Gunderman. Rose was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who always put her family's needs before her own. She enjoyed crafts especially making Christmas ornaments. She is survived by three daughters: JoAnn Fink and husband Lee of Blakeslee, PA, Linda Clegg and husband Nathan of Manchester, NJ and Lorraine Palmer of Torrington, CT; four sons: Michael Hubbard and wife Cheryl of Toms River, NJ, Pete Hubbard and wife Erin of Honesdale, PA, Richard Hubbard and wife Sue of Lakehurst, NJ and Edward Hubbard of Manchester, NJ; three sisters: Carol Wintermute and husband Pell of New York, Patsy Bough of New Jersey and Shirley Paul and husband Donald of Hawley, PA; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Everett Hubbard, a granddaughter: Samantha Hubbard; a sister: Isabell Kymer. Family and friends called Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Yanac Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc., 35 Sterling Road, Mt. Pocono, PA. A service was held at 7:00 pm. by Rev. Dr. Gar Pollard, chaplain of VNA Hospice, Stroudsburg, PA. Cremation followed. Arrangements were conducted by the Carmine J. & Louis C.
