Rose M. Popovich, age 57, of Carbondale, PA. died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, April 6, 2005 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was the wife of Charles Popovich. Born February 15, 1948 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Tolerico) Kutch. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. She was a 1966 graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School in Carbondale. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother who loved life and everyone. She was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved listening to Brooks Dunn, loved angels and lighthouses and enjoyed cooking for her family. She is survived by one daughter: Megan Popovich of Carbondale, PA.; one son: John Popovich of Carbondale, PA.; one sister: Mary husband Ed Killiany of Carbondale, PA.; one granddaughter: Haylie; Several Nieces Nephews The funeral was held Monday, April 11, 2005 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Sunday, April 10, 2005 from 2-4 7-9 pm. Pallbearers: John Popovich (Son), Joe Killiany, Andy Killiany, Ed Killiany, Steve Tolerico, Fred Tolerico and Christopher Imperiale. Honary Pallbearers: Travis Mulholland, Danny Novak and Chris Mooney.
