Rose M. Molinaro age 89, of RD 1 Dalton, formerly of 102 Dundaff Street, Carbondale, died Thursday morning, March 21, 2002 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was the wife of the late Fred J. Molinaro who died March 4, 1978.
Born November 26, 1912 in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Rosetta) Laguzzi.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Carbondale. She was also a member of Telespond Senior Services Adult Day Care, Scranton.
She and her late husband were the owners of Molinaros Caf, Carbondale.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She enjoyed bingo, baking, and cooking.
She is survived by two sons: Joseph Molinaro of Dalton, PA and Fred Molinaro of Dalton, PA; 6 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandaughter; Nieces Nephews
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Anthony Laguzzi and Samuel Laguzzi; one sister: Victoria Vito
The funeral was held Monday, March 25, 2002 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale with mass at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Falbrook Street, Carbondale celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, Pastor, officiating. Interment, Mother Of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp.
