Robert J. Woytowich, age 53, of Jermyn, PA. died unexpectedly Monday morning, August 9, 2004. Born December 16, 1950 in Long Island, NY. He is the son of Elizabeth (Polednak) Woytowich of Jermyn and the late Theodore Woytowich, Sr. He was a former employee of the Tobyhanna Army Depot and currently was employed at Jerrys Sports Center in Vandling, PA. He was an Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post 869 in Archbald, PA. Memorial Contributions can be sent to: American Legion Post 869 161 South Main Street Archbald, PA 18403 He is survived by four sisters: Josephine (Joanne) Phillips of Archbald, PA., Rosemary Fox of Mayfield, PA., Kathleen Woytowich of Jermyn, PA. and Julie Ogazaly of Carbondale, PA.; two brothers: Theodore Woytowich, Jr. of Jermyn, PA. and Michael Woytowich of Meriden, CT.; Several Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by one sister: Theresa Ossig The funeral was held Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 10:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 622 Madison Avenue, Jermyn, celebrated by his cousin Rev. John Polednak, pastor of St. Patricks Church, Nicholson, PA. Interment, Sandy Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Wednesday, August 11, 2004 from 6-9 PM. Pallbearers: two brothers: Theodore Woytowich, Jr and Michael Woytowich, Michael Fox, Michael Polednak, Jimmy Iyoob and Frank Pientack.
