Robert W. Penwarden, 56, of Greenfield Twp., PA., died Friday, October 5, 2012 upon arrival at Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville, PA., after suffering an apparent heart attack at work. Born November 22, 1955 in Carbondale, PA., he was the son of the late Joseph and Ann Healey Penwarden. He was a graduate of Lakeland High School in Scott Township, PA., and was employed as a mechanic at Greenfield Power Equipment in Greenfield Township. He is survived by an aunt, Eleanor Penwarden of Tully, NY.; several cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by one brother: Joseph Penwarden, Jr. A memorial service was held Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA., with Pastor Peg Knapich, rector of the Clifford United Methodist Church, Clifford, PA., officiating. Inurnment immediately followed the service at the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Friends called Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2-3 PM.
