Robert F. Misko, 84, of Carbondale, PA, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Forest City Nursing Home, after a brief stay. He is survived by his wife, the former Rosalie B. Mussari. They were married on July 12, 1958. Born March 15, 1937 in Eynon, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Douches Misko. Bob was a graduate of Archbald High School and had retired from Weston Instruments in Archbald, PA. He was the owner of the former Bob's Variety Store which was located on Main Street in Carbondale, and was also associated with the former Corner Bistro Restaurant in Carbondale. Bob was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. He is survived by three children: Barbara Cwikla and husband, Ronald of Taylor, PA, Blenda Liuzzo and husband, Rick of Greenfield Township, PA and Rob Misko of Carbondale, PA; five grandchildren: Laecy Heptig, Brandi Cwikla, Dominque Liuzzo, Rory Misko and Liam Misko; five great grandchildren: Darian, Alyvia, Jake, Lucy and Rosy; one sister and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. The funeral was held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Arun Lakra, assistant pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
