Robert C. Kilmer, age 81, of Clifford, PA., died early Sunday morning, May 6, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Born April 5, 1931 in Schenectady, NY., he was the son of the late Clarence Kilmer, Sr. and Consetta (Corvino) Kilmer. He was a graduate of Greenfield Township High School and owned and operated Robert Kilmer Logging, Clifford, for over 65 years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his many hunting trips out west in his younger years. He had a love for the outdoors and wild animals. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who will be missed by his family. He was deeply saddened by the loss of his faithful companion Bud last year whom he loved so much. He is survived by three sons: Robert Kilmer and wife Cathy of Clifford, PA., David Kilmer and wife Kim of Clifford, PA. and Gary Kilmer and wife Julie of Vandling, PA.; three daughters: Robin Rudovitz and husband Richard of Archbald, PA., Connie Kilmer of Oklahoma and Tiffany Kilmer of Clifford, PA.; two sisters: Shirley Uhran of Florida and Joann Telford of Crystal Lake, PA.; five brothers: Fred Kilmer of Nicholson, PA., Ronald Kilmer of Forest City, PA., Douglas Kilmer of Union Dale, PA., Raymond Kilmer of Thompson, PA. and Larry Kilmer of Mayfield, PA.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son: Randy Kilmer; one brother: Clarence Kilmer, Jr. The funeral was held Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:30 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA., with Chaplain Tim Weeks, of Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA, Scranton, PA., officiating. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Pallbearers: Robert Kilmer, David Kilmer, Gary Kilmer, David Kilmer, Jr., Larry Kilmer and Richard Rudovitz.
